Born from the artistry of Al Stohlman in 1919, Tandy Leather aims to share leathercraft with the world. As a one-stop-shop for leathercrafting materials, tools, hardware, machinery, and more, Tandy Leather is keeping the art of leathercraft alive.
Tandy Leather approached RFTB with the challenge of taking the digital presence of a 100-year-old brand to the next level by gaining a new audience without losing its loyal following. RFTB partnered with Tandy to create a full digital suite of creative to help create brand cohesiveness through website designs, email campaigns and social media posts.
While in the process of launching their new website, Tandy Leather partnered with RFTB to design and develop additional brand-focused pages within the new Shopify website.
Tandy Leather needed an area on the site to showcase different makers and their creations utilizing Tandy products. RFTB created a template for the Maker Spotlight pages as well as several other information-driven pages on the new website.
With an increased emphasis on taking a mobile-first approach to websites, RFTB designed and developed the brand-focused pages to be responsive - ensuring the website would look and function correctly regardless of device.

Along with the updated website, Tandy Leather was looking for a partner to assist in designing and developing a creative email campaign based on sales, product launches, maker spotlights and more. RFTB created multiple emails each month to generate awareness as well as sales.
Completing the full-suite digital evolution of the Tandy Leather brand, RFTB curated social media posts showcasing a variety of content including products, projects, live class promotions, and more. With RFTB creating social ads, website pages and email campaigns, the Tandy Leather brand presence maintained a seamless and cohesive brand identity across all platforms.
